Our background is a blend of fine art, creative writing, visual design, digital communications, and composition; in addition to marketing, interpersonal communications, and creative analysis. That diverse mix is reflected in our work. One client called us “everything designers;” another called us “designer’s designers.” We endeavor to live up to both monikers.

Allison Stevens

Studio Courses at the Art Students League, New York, NY

While she is well-versed in digital graphic design and web design, Allison also creates pieces without a computer, using instead oil paints, watercolors, charcoal & other analog media.

Caylin Capra-Thomas

Copy Editor | Communications Specialist

Background:
BA in English from University of Vermont
MFA in Creative Writing from University of Montana

Caylin is also the author of two chapbooks, and her poetry and nonfiction have appeared in numerous literary journals, including New England Review, Crazyhorse, Willow Springs, Ninth Letter, The Journal, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of residencies, fellowships, and awards from the Vermont Studio Center, the Studios of Key West, and the Louisville Literary Arts Association. Caylin is also currently pursuing her PhD in English and creative writing at University of Missouri.

Magdalene Kelner

Graphic Designer | 2D Animator

As you can tell from her bio image, Maggie’s animations bring a playful sense of style to the table! You can also see a sampling of her animations on the website we created for Leigh Perry and the book covers she’s designed for Toni.

 

Our Studio Pawsonnel

Our pups are our devoted companions in and outside the workshop. They boost our morale, remind us to stretch when we’ve been sitting too long, and help stimulate our creativity. A few years ago, we lost our original studio pups, Aberdeen and William. But they will forever be considered our beloved Barker-in-Chief and President of Morale, respectively. We will also dearly miss Bear Dog, our first and only Freelance Fetch Specialist.
